It’s a good thing the Dems and media gave Trent Lott the same benefit of the doubt.

If she were serious, why did she include Mother Teresa along with Mao? Those are polar opposites if there ever were any.

Where did you hear “hard line liberal cheer leading” in this video?

“Anita Dunn had no facial expression or voice inflection different from her words…watch her say it, she’s speaking seriously”

Maybe she doesn’t have a facial expression after making a joke or change her voice inflection. Not every person is going to have the same reaction to everything.

oh, and for the record – BECK SUCKS

MORE Lies from TYT

Watch it for yourself.
Anita Dunn had no facial expression or voice inflection different from her words…watch her say it, she’s speaking seriously – to High School students… and the laugh is a nervous response, just as mine was when I first watched her speech.

TYT SUCKS.

The only reason I watch more TYT it to see more lies.

RESEARCH IT YOURSELVES

Oh, by the way, almost 3,000,000 American people take Glenn Beck seriously every day. You want more good news? That does not include his radio program or his best selling books. What percentage of 300,000,000 are you reaching?

12 Stockpile1 { 02.07.10 at 3:10 pm }

She is NOT joking. She did NOT so much as smirk. You, you dumb TURK welcome the false consensus that she was joking merely because the audience laughed. She is dead serious. You’re nothing but a cheerleader who won’t admit something so obvious. Keep your head in the sand. You just lost Massachusetts

@nevar00 i wouldn’t go so far as to say ‘completely’…

14 Spikyles { 02.07.10 at 3:10 pm }

I wonder what would happen if she would ever put a little split pea soup in her mouth while that lizard tongue is flicking around.

15 nevar00 { 02.07.10 at 3:10 pm }

I fail to see how she was supporting Mao. It was supposed to be an ironic joke (hence the… you know, laughter) about how two completely different people could have the same outlook in different ways. Leave it paranoid Beck to come up with some Communist conspiracy out of it. This guy is a joke.

16 nevar00 { 02.07.10 at 3:10 pm }

Am loving all the Glenn Beck dick suckers here. Well not really, it’s like a mass gathering of idiots.

17 wannachef { 02.07.10 at 3:10 pm }

She was only “joking” about the pairing w/ mother theresa. Watch the whole clip to see that she is serious…youtube search: glenn beck anita dunn favorite philosopher mao tse tung 10 15 09. TYT are a pathetic attempt at media

You will love Beck! He cuts through all of the political crap right to what these cons are doing in reality. No double talk like obama. just facts. He is busting all of Obamas anti American pals. All of them seem to praise Mao, Stalin, Castro, Chavevs and tactics of shhhhhh. . . . . hitler. Face it, Obama Hates America except for the Power and Money he has acquired from it. He is a Traitor and should be hung for TREASON w/ Gore, Pelosi and Ried . . . and Barney and Dodds! More to come

21 rambone5 { 02.07.10 at 3:10 pm }

I’ve never seen Glenn Beck’s show, but I think I will start watching it. I’ve heard a lot about him but never watched. Thanks for turning me on to Glenn Beck!

The Young Turk only showed a small portion of Anita Dunn’s comments on Mao. She was not joking. As far as the Young Turk’s counterarguments, they are silly. Dunn claims that she was simply quoting Lee Atwater. Where is the proof of Lee Atwater saying the exact same words in the exact same context? I have yet to see any independent proof outside of Dunn’s claim. Next, Newt’s Mao quote, the only one SLIGHTLY comparable to Dunn’s, still does not touch Dunn’s laudatory praise of Mao.

24 wjs1721 { 02.07.10 at 3:10 pm }

Newt should have chosen someone better to quote, but did he ever actually claim that Mao was one of his favorite political philosophers? Thirdly, the final argument of President Bush recommending a Mao biography to Karl Rove is the most absurd yet. How in the world is recommending the reading of a Mao biography in ANY way comparable to Dunn’s words. Where are the parallels?

25 wjs1721 { 02.07.10 at 3:10 pm }

My history professor required the reading of a Mao biography for his course on China. Does this make him a lover of Mao? A thousand times no! Just because someone suggests the reading of a Mao biography (or that of Hitler, Stalin, or Attila the Hun, for that matter) does not mean that they support the person whom the biography is about.
