If they are planning a war with America then why the hell are they doing it so openly? It is not exactly smart to show your plans to a country you are gonna attack is it? I would say it is to prevent an American atack and not to declare war on anybody, they are in no position to attack a country that is a member of the UN at this point, they will get Europe on their asses.
@Hosislo Thats nonsense mate. North Korea would have always gone after nuclear weapons because they intend to occupy South Korea. They know that allies of South Korea will try to prevent that so they began researching nuclear physics, and would no doubt have begun long before the first gulf war. North Korea aims to pull China into a war with America and wont act until they feel condident that they can achieve their goal of conquest of all of Korean.
They did not start developing nukes till after the war in Iraq. Do you know why? They are afraid that America is gonna invade them for no reason other than for not liking them like they did with Iraq. Obama understands this and therefore tries a more peaceful aproach.
There has been a cold war with North Korea since the last Korean war ended. Bush didn not ‘nearly’ start it. North Koreas pursuit of nuclear weapons and attempts to develop weapons capable of reaching North America, Japan, Australia and other allies is what escalated the existing cold war. If anything Obama’s soft stance on North Korea could make it easier for them to develop their weapons.
